A story in Sunday's Sun about a Las Vegas art collector incorrectly characterized Southern California painter John Baldessari as an "emerging artist." Baldessari is a long-established, highly respected artist. The error occurred when an editor merged sentences to save space. The Sun regrets the error.
A photo caption in Tuesday's paper incorrectly identified the quarterback of the Las Vegas Showgirlz football team. The player shown in the photo was Carrie Walters, not Cassandra Alston. The Sun regrets the error.
