Letter: Government agencies have answers now
Tuesday, April 25, 2006 | 7:07 a.m.
The evidence of illegal workers in this country is right at our fingertips, but the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration do not share that information.
How incompetent could our government be when all the answers of illegal immigrants who are using phony Social Security cards are at our disposal and we could easily rectify the situation we have at hand?
It is a very simple task for these two gigantic government agencies to massage their computer data files and pull out all the bogus Social Security numbers that the illegal workers are using.
This would give our country the legal right to round up every single illegal immigrant in our country and deport them to their country of origin.
The savings in taxes of all the law-abiding citizens of this great country would be a tremendous proportion and we could allocate the newfound monies to help our own citizens in times of national disasters.
It is not fair to any citizen of this country that illegal immigrants should have any rights at all here.
Let's do the right thing, and support only legal immigrants who have legitimate Social Security numbers and driver's licenses.
