As a Roman Catholic, I am embarrassed, disappointed and resentful of Cardinal Mahony's promise to defy immigration changes and encourage all to violate the current law by assisting illegal immigrants.
His views certainly do not coincide with mine and I hope His Eminence has the approval of Rome. I think he has paraphrased our leader who said "bring 'em on" to "bring 'em in."
