Letter: Jobs are answer to immigration problem

The vast majority of illegal immigration would end tomorrow if jobs were unavailable to those who come here illegally. The majority of those already here illegally would leave if they lost their jobs because they were here illegally.

All this talk about beefing up border security, building walls, prison for illegals, welfare, medical care, etc., is nothing but a waste of time. It's the jobs. Simple as that. But don't expect the politicians to face this reality until we're willing to face it, too. Now, please, on to the next subject.
