Letter: Protesting war and the president aids the enemy
Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005 | 9:23 a.m.
I watched bits and pieces of the protesters and their speeches on C-Span over the weekend and I noticed an all-too evident hatred of President Bush. More so, have we forgotten who the real enemy is? May I remind our readers that it is the bomb-wielding bin Laden boys with their dirty nightshirts who are out to kill our children and destroy our freedoms here in America? I refuse to let this happen and do support the war on these merciless killers. Have we forgotten 9/11?
I thank Jesus that Saddam is caught. I pray for bin Laden to be next. I also pray for these subversive, anti-American Bush haters to quit aligning themselves with the terrorists under the name of liberty and peace. When they oppose Bush's fight against terroriism, they unknowingly are enlisted in the camp of the enemy.
Please support our troops, our president and our American freedom -- and what it takes to preserve and guard them. And if the Iraqi people are made free in the process, then Amen!
