Teresa D'Amore
Teresa D'Amore, 46, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1958, in England. A resident for more than 20 years, she was a hotel waitress.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her mother, Laura Kearney, one brother, Pascal Kearney, and one sister, Maria Styles, all of England.
Visitation is private. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Gonzalo Alberto Garatte
Gonzalo Alberto Garatte, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 20, 1928, in Chile. A resident for eight months, he was an apartment manager.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons, Ronald G. Harter and Robert E. Harter; and two sisters, Adrianna and Arinda.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Connie Giangreco
Connie Giangreco, 97, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 20, 1907, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Hedegaard of Henderson and Paula Cullison of Phoenix; and one son, Vincent Giangreco of New York City.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, 1501 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89104.
Sylvia Herschenhorn
Sylvia Herschenhorn, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a retired administrative assistant for the state government.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Alpern of Las Vegas and Suzanne Herschenhorn of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Roy Rehse
Roy Rehse, 93, of Boulder City died Thursday in a local hospital. A retired ranching supervisor, he was born Dec. 8, 1911, in Ida Grove, Iowa.
He is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Vandiver of Boulder City and Joan Rouly of Yorba Linda, Calif.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.
Lewis Eldon Sullivan
Lewis Eldon Sullivan, M.D., 75, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born May 13, 1930, in Cleveland. A resident for 11 years, he was a physican and an Army captain.
He is survived by his wife, Kari J.; two sons, David Eldon Sullivan and James Webster Sullivan; two daughters, Kathleen Patricia Christiansen and Cynthia Marie Sullivan; one brother, Michael Sullivan; and seven grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Tavares L. Washington
Tavares L. Washington, 24, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 21, 1981, in Nevada. A resident for 24 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by one son, Tay Shawn L. Washington of Las Vegas; his parents, George and Emeldia Washington; and two sisters, Georgetta Washington of North Las Vegas and Felicia Smith of Arizona.
Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.
