Gaming firm says deal is separate to Riverside

Sky City Entertainment Group Ltd., New Zealand's largest casino company, said a possible acquisition flagged in a prospectus last week is separate to the purchase of the rest of the Riverside Entertainment Center.
The company said in a Sept. 16 prospectus for the sale of debt securities in Australia that it was undertaking due diligence on a possible acquisition. It gave no details and declined to comment further. Shares in Auckland-based Sky City have dropped 2.2 percent since the prospectus was released.
Auckland-based Sky City's NZ$7.5 million ($5 million) purchase of the rest of Riverside, in the North Island city of Hamilton, isn't the acquisition referred to in the prospectus, spokeswoman Melanie Palmer said.
