Man found shot to death outside apartments

A 30-year-old man was found shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex near Lake Mead and Hollywood boulevards this morning, Metro Police said.

The victim lived at the apartment complex at 6983 Appleton Drive and was shot after getting into an argument with others in the area, Metro stated.

Police are currently searching for suspects.

The Clark County coroner's office had not released the name of the victim as of this morning.

Metro Police are also complaining about several people who were allegedly acting disruptive at the scene of the shooting.

The people were allegedly walking through the crime scene and were "not cooperating" with police, said Bill Casell, Metro spokesman.

He said the allegedly disruptive people were taken into custody and were admonished.
