The real heroes of the Gulf Coast hurricane disaster are the reporters. They exposed victims who were forgotten and left behind.
It was the media, along with the local officials there, who exposed the incompency of the federal government and those responsible for taking care of getting people to safety.
So let's all give thanks to them for their courage and professionalism. Most of the survivors are alive because of them, and not because of our government.
