Sprinkler clock workshops scheduled
Acacia Demonstration Gardens, 50 Casa Del Fuego, Henderson, will host free sprinkler clock demonstration workshops from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 1, 8, 29 and Nov. 5.
Participants ages 16 and up need to attend one demonstration. Registration is not required.
Professionals from Henderson Water Watchers will facilitate, offering practical tips on how to set the sprinkler clock, an important controller for an irrigation system; how to comply with assigned watering schedules; and how to check any system for possible leaks.
The Acacia Demonstration Gardens offers 19 distinct gardens on 2.8 acres, all demonstrating attractive and water-efficient landscape.

Clark High class holds 30-year reunion
Clark High School's Class of 1975 will hold its 30-year reunion beginning with a mixer from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 30 at The Beach Night Club (Paradise Road and Convention Center Drive).
A dinner and dance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Gold Coast the following night. Tickets can be purchased for this event at www.greatreunions.com.
The reunion will conclude with a family picnic from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at Desert Breeze Park off Twain Avenue and Durango Drive.
All Clark alumni from 1972 through 1977 are invited to the reunion weekend.

CCSN to host job fair in Henderson Oct. 3
The Community College of Southern Nevada is hosting the Fall Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Caviglia Academic Computing Building at 700 College Drive in Henderson.
The job fair will feature employers on the Henderson Campus.
Most employers will conduct a variety of activities: providing company information and job applications, accepting resumes, scheduling interviews, and holding on-site interviews, and holding on-site interviews.
