Two women hurt in fight

One woman was stabbed and another was injured during a fight this morning in the 4400 block of Aladdin Lane near Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard, Metro Police said.

Metro had little information on the stabbing and could not release the names of the women involved.

The incident started at 3:55 a.m., when three women went to a house on Aladdin Lane to retrieve items from the home, Montoya said.

Montoya said he did not know if any of the three women lived at the home.

The three women allegedly broke into the house after another woman refused to let them inside, Montoya said.

A fight broke out between the women and one was stabbed and another was hit over the head with an iron, Montoya said.

The two women who were injured were taken to UMC Trauma but their conditions were not known.
