Penny Beck

Penny Beck, 38, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 15, 1967, in Rockledge, Fla. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; two daughters, Katelyn Beck and Britney Neumann, her parents, Bill and Pat Rice, and two sisters, Debi Vander Voort and Angela Embrey, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

The family suggests donations to the American Liver Foundation, 1425 Pampton Ave., Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.

Jesus Belarmino

Jesus Belarmino, 63, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1941, in Calamba Laguna, Philippines. A resident for nine years, he was a retired physician and a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel.

He is survived by his wife Nora; two sons, Jeremy Belarmino of North Las Vegas and Jervis Belarmino of Seattle; and one daughter, Cristina Belarmino of North Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Nellis Air Force Base Chapel.

Mary A. Compton

Mary A. Compton, 50, of Las Vegas died Sept. 8 in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 15, 1954, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was a cashier.

She is survived by three brothers, David E. Compton Sr.; Robert G. Compton and Charles W. Compton, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

John F. Dziedzic

John F. Dziedzic, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Chicago. A resident for seven years, he was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; three daughters, Lisa Kalafut of Anthem, Ariz., Linda Harding of Romeoville, Ill., and Laura Dziedzic of Worth, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Maurice Gray

Maurice Gray, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 17, 1942, in Texas. A resident for one year, he was a clerk for the U.S. government.

He is survived by two nieces, Andrea McGee and Cynthia Williams, and one nephew, Yancy Clark, all of California.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Shirley Ree Lewis

Shirley Ree Lewis, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Temple, Texas. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Herman; one son, Delwyn Wells of Las Vegas; four sisters, Annette Wilson and Melba Rogers, both of Temple, Barbara Winn of Las Vegas and Christella Grant of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, James Lewis of Dallas and Carl Lewis of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Charlene Ann Mathews

Charlene Ann Mathews, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 10, 1953, in Detroit. A resident for 45 years, she was an assembly production worker.

She is survived by her mother, Delores Reil, and one brother, Kelly Mathews, both of North Las Vegas; and one stepbrother, Arnie Reil of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Teresa Ann Rea

Teresa Ann Rea, 57, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 24, 1948, in Los Angeles. A resident for 37 years, she was a patient billing manager. She is survived by two sons, Don Rea Jr. of Gilbert, Ariz., and Erik Rea of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Pat Rousch

Pat Rousch, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Waco, Texas. A resident for 52 years, she was an engineer.

She is survived by her husband, Bob.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Barbara E. Smith

Barbara E. Smith, 46, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 5, 1959, in Louisiana. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Patrick Smith Jr., two daughters, Latasha Smith and Sha'Dora Severs, four brothers, Johnny Hudson Jr., David Hudson, Matthew Young Sr. and Ronnie Hudson Sr., and one sister, Victoria Hudson, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Tabernacle of Faith, 2030 Yale St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ann Stewart

Ann Stewart of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Hodge of Las Vegas and Gail Mitchell of Citrus Heights, Calif.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Mary D. Valenti

Mary D. Valenti, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Benton, Ill. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker and restaurant owner.

She is survived by her husband, Sam; and two daughters, Donna V. Weiss of Virginia and Jill Godin of Las Vegas.
