Builder earns highest marks for customer satisfaction

Del Webb ranks highest in homebuilder customer satisfaction in the Las Vegas market for a second consecutive year, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2005 New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study, released today.
The study, which measures customer satisfaction with new homebuilders in 30 of the largest homebuilding markets, is based on 10 factors that drive overall satisfaction.
Del Webb, a division of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Pulte Homes ranked highest. Following Del Webb in the Las Vegas market was Pulte and KB Home, respectively. According to the study, Pulte performs particularly well in quality of workmanship/materials and physical design elements, while KB Home received the highest ratings in price/value and builder's design center.
The overall customer satisfaction index score in Las Vegas is 113, down 10 index points from 2004. The J.D. Power and Associates 30-market average is 112.
