Natalie Gulbis
Las Vegas will be represented at the Lexus Cup team golf event in Singapore in November after Natalie Gulbis was named to the International team on Monday along with American teenager Paula Creamer.
The tournament features Ryder Cup-style matches.
The International team will be captained by Annika Sorenstam. They will face off against an Asian team captained by Grace Park. The three-day tournament begins Nov. 9.
Chuck Knox
Former Seahawks coach Chuck Knox will be inducted into the team's "Ring of Honor."
Knox coached Seattle from 1983-1991, compiling an 80-63 record. He ranks seventh in league history with 193 career victories.
Knox led Seattle to the playoffs four times, and was NFL coach of the year in 1983 and '84. Before coming to Seattle, he coached the Los Angeles Rams and the Buffalo Bills, and was the first coach in NFL history to lead three different teams to the playoffs.
Kostya Tszyu
Three months after losing his IBF light welterweight championship, Kostya Tszyu says he is still undecided about his future in boxing.
A Russian-born Australian, Tszyu lost his title to Englishman Ricky Hatton in June.
"I'll wake up one day and make the decision, but while I'm here (in Moscow) nothing is going to happen," Tszyu, 35, told the RIA-Novosti news agency. -- Sun wire services
