Edward D. Carosone
Edward D. Carosone, 79, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Avella, Pa. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired iron worker, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Iron Workers Local 433.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three sons, James Carosone and David Carosone, both of Las Vegas, and Philip Carosone of Texas; two daughters, Christina Wakley and Annette Dick, both of California; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday with a 5:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
Ramon Pedro 'Ray' Cruz
Ramon Pedro "Ray" Cruz, 44, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 24, 1961, in California. A resident for 18 years, he owned a plumbing company and was a member of AA.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two sons, Jayson Cruz and Dylan Cruz; one daughter, Christina Cruz; his father, Ramon E. Cruz; his mother, Miriam R. Guillen; two brothers, Papo Guillen and Ramon Esteban Cruz; and four sisters, Mercedes Arencibia, Odalys Herrera, Gloria Estrada and Zoema Cruz.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Joseph Earl Edwards
Joseph Earl Edwards, 77, of Las Vegas and Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 13, 1928, in Los Angeles. A resident for 10 years, he was a supervisor for a rubber manufacturer.
He is survived by one son, Joseph Edwards of Henderson; two sisters, Esther M. Edwards and Minnie M. Edwards, both of Stockton, Calif.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
Tammy Goeken
Tammy Goeken, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born March 24, 1963, in Racine, Wis. A resident for 27 years, she owned a cleaning business.
She is survived by her husband, George; one daughter, Sarah Goeken, and one son, George Goeken Jr., both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Margie Sue Jackson
Margie Sue Jackson, 55, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Fordyce, Ark. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired child care provider.
She is survived by her husband, Allen; two sons, Allen Etchane Jackson and Burdette Darnell Hawkins, and two daughters, Allison Janaye Moore and Alleese Jackson, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Paul W. Kipe
Paul W. Kipe, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Sabillasville, Md. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of the Masons, the Shriners and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores E.; one son, Eric S. Kipe of Las Vegas; two sisters, Edna Flohr of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., and Naomi Sorrells of Charleston, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Dorothy Jane Kulas
Dorothy Jane Kulas, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Eugene, Ore. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired United Airlines flight attendant and a member of Clipped Wings.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Scott Parker on June 3, 2000.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Linda Sue Parker of Bend, Ore.; one son, Jeffrey I. Parker of West Linn, Ore.; one stepson, Ken Kulas, and one stepdaughter, Kathy Kulas, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Scott Anthony McConnell
Scott Anthony McConnell, 31, of North Las Vegas died Monday. He was born April 14, 1974, in Fallon. A resident of Southern Nevada for 25 years, he was an electrician for the power company, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a Marine Corps veteran and a graduate of Pahrump Valley High School.
He is survived by one daughter, Tori McConnell of Pahrump; one son, Myles McConnell of North Carolina; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and John Sena of North Las Vegas; his father and stepmother, Ken and Jule McConnell of Tucson; one sister, Brandi McConnell of Las Vegas; two brothers, Steve McConnell of Carlin and Kyle McConnell of Tucson; and his grandparents, I.V. and Alemeda Meeks of Fallon and Glenmar McConnell of Hawthorne.

Robert Duane Mitchell
Robert Duane Mitchell, 83, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Topeka, Kan. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired consultant in the aerospace industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann; two daughters, Deidre Mitchell of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Debra Stiverson of Maize, Kan.; three sons, Robert Mitchell Jr. of Rogers, Ark., and Bradley Mitchell and Gregory Mitchell, both of Wichita, Kan.; one stepdaughter, Toni Power of Mountain View, Calif.; two brothers, Fred Mitchell of Florence, Colo., and Max Mitchell of Wichita; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

George F. Simmons
George F. Simmons, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 12, 1925, in Honolulu. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired movir actor, a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Screen Extras Guild.

Mike G. Taccone Sr.
Mike G. Taccone Sr., 84, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 6, 1920, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A resident for 35 years, he retired in 1984 from the MGM Grand as a department manager and was a World War II Merchant Marine veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia; three sons, Mike Taccone Jr. of Newburyport, Mass., and Glenn Taccone and George Taccone, both of Henderson; two sisters, Carmen Mosquera and Norma Crosta, and one brother, Jose Costanzo, all of Buenos Aires; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Friday followed by a noon service in the LDS Pebble Canyon Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Sabrina Ann Weathers
Sabrina Ann Weathers, 34, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a medical file clerk.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
