What's on your bookshelf?

"The World Is Flat" by Thomas Friedman. It's about technology and how it is changing competition and the way the world does business. I don't read a lot of novels.

What's in your CD player?

John Prine's new CD "Fair & Square." We need to get somebody from the local entertainment industry to book him so I don't have to travel.

What's in your DVD player?

"A Very Long Engagement." It's a love story set in France during World War I.

The last thing you TIVO'd:

Last week's Packer game. I'm a Packer fan, a (Wisconsin) Badger fan and a Rebel fan.

Want fries with that?

No. Staying healthy is a full-time job.

Paper or plastic?

Plastic. I can carry eight bags in the house at one time. With paper bags, no way.

Last nonhuman thing you'd grab before the hurricane hit:

Our family pictures. I have all the pictures I've been taking since I was a kid arranged on a hard drive. So I'd grab that drive.

People may not know that...

I am a former wrestler (All-American at Wisconsin) who is now an assistant basketball coach. It's my younger daughter Danielle's club team, the Las Vegas Vipers.
