Highlights of August 2005 revenue report on Nevada casinos

Major details from Tuesday's state Gaming Control Board's report on August 2005 winnings by Nevada's casinos:
-STATEWIDE: $989 million win, up 9.3 percent.
-LAS VEGAS STRIP: $486.6 million, up 13.3 percent.
-DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS: $53.5 million, down 2.6 percent.
-NORTH LAS VEGAS: $30.3 million, up 19.9 percent.
-LAUGHLIN: $48.2 million, up 1 percent.
-BOULDER STRIP: $83.9 million, up 12.3 percent.
-RENO: $70.2 million, up 3.1 percent.
-SPARKS: $14.2 million, up 1.4 percent.
-NORTH TAHOE: $4.9 million, down 6.8 percent.
-STATELINE: $37.3 million, down 8.7 percent.
-ELKO COUNTY: $21.6 million, up 7.1 percent.
-CARSON-GARDNERVILLE-MINDEN: $10.3 million, down 0.5 percent.
-CHURCHILL: $1.9 million, up 22 percent.
-HUMBOLDT: $1.8 million, up 6.5 percent.
-WHITE PINE: $622,000, up 9.1 percent.
