Letter: No surprise Bush evaded protest
Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 | 8:09 a.m.
The handlers of President Bush arranged for him to be out of town, of course. But when has a duty-dodging coward who evaded service to his country during a war ever stuck around to face a hostile crowd? His absence and the various dirty tricks employed to interfere with the protest could not conceal the glaring fact that the anti-war movement is growing.
The American people are now aware of the significance of the Downing Street memo and the many other documents and the highly credible testimony that proves Bush and company were hell-bent on invading Iraq and that they lied over and over to hoodwink Congress and the people.
Impeachment is coming soon. Get yourself a front-row seat.
