The Democratic side of the governor's race has been the noisy one so far. State Sen. Dina Titus has pummeled Henderson Mayor Jim Gibson, who has saved much of his fire for Rep. Jim Gibbons. But Thursday state Sen. Bob Beers stirred the GOP pot after Gibbons bobbed and weaved on "Face to Face" on Wednesday. Beers lambasted Gibbons for being in a "chronic state of undecided" as he refused to take a position on Beers' Tax and Spending Control initiative and the federal budget bill. Gibbons' campaign defended his waffling on TASC but then attacked Beers for voting for "the largest, most expansive and bloated budget in Nevada history." That's a nice shot. But, ahem, wasn't that Gov. Kenny Guinn's budget?
