Given a chance to skewer a pundit who skewers for a living, they came out in force Saturday night for the Second Chance Foundation. The roasters turned me on a spit, none more than R&R's Pete Ernaut, who slanderously suggested I had these irritating qualities of elected officials: Rep. Shelley Berkely's voice; state Sen. Dina Titus' calm, reasonable demeanor; Gov. Kenny Guinn's disdain for the English language; Treasurer Brian Krolicki's influence over the Legislature; Sen. John Ensign's compassion for the downtrodden; Sen. Harry Reid's happy, smiling face; Rep. Jim Gibbons' respect of his peers; and Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman's tact. Who says I resemble those remarks?
