Letter: Commentary about Bush is sad but true
Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 | 8:52 a.m.
Kudos to the New York Times' Paul Krugman and his recent column exposing the emperor/president, "Defending imperial nudity." Clever and accurate analogy, but at the same time a sad commentary.
Krugman might have gone further to call for the curtain to be pulled back on the "Wizard of Oz" -- Vice President Dick Cheney -- now under investigation for manipulating the machinery of the Iraq buildup for war behind a curtain of secrecy. This administration is full of characters that would lend themselves to fictional caricature.
