Max E. Burnham
Max E. Burnham, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1926, in Macomb, Ill. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired craps dealer and World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Renee; one daughter, Tracy Yeich; two stepdaughters, Penni McEwan and Wendi Steinman; and one granddaughter.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Juliana C. Demain
Juliana C. Demain, 96, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1908, in Barugo, Leyte, Philippines. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Pat Demain of Las Vegas and Virgil Demain of Honolulu.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Delphia Ann Foster
Delphia Ann Foster, 37, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 8, 1968, in Virginia. A resident for five years, she was an accountant.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Brewster; two sisters, Delthia Ann "Wendy" and Della Arlene; and her grandmother, Mable Ann Brewster.
San Diego services are pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Nathalie Novic
Nathalie Novic, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 22, 1919, in Russia. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired secretary for a telephone company.
She is survived by one daughter, Ann Page, one granddaughter, Jacqueline Console, and two grandsons, Chris Hough and Bobby Page, all of Las Vegas; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Jethro Spurlock Jr.
Jethro Spurlock Jr., 57, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 11, 1947, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 12 years, he was a fire command center manager at a casino and a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; five sons, Gregory Spurlock of Omaha, Deano Spurlock of Carson City, Deaconn Spurlock of Sparks and Jody Lanier and Colin Darfour; two daughters, Christina Spurlock and Kimberly Spurlock, both of North Las Vegas; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Omaha. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Nathan Forrest Stout
Nathan Forrest Stout, 56, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Boulder City. A lifelong resident of Southern Nevada, he was a scientific illustrator at the Geo Science Department at UNLV and the grandson of Frank and Isabel Rants and Walter and Dency Stout, pioneer families in Southern Nevada.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Rants Stout and Nathan Lewis Stout of Henderson; one sister, Janiece Stout Crosland, and one brother, Troy Dee Crosland, both of Las Vegas; and one nephew, Gary Nathan Crosland of Gooding, Idaho.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
William Robert Wise Sr.
William Robert Wise Sr., 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 14, 1943, in Florida. A resident for 22 years, he was a courier and had been an Army paratrooper with the 5th Special Forces.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; three sons, William R. Wise Jr., Michael Wise and Robert Earl Wise; one daughter, Yasmin; his mother, Thelma L. Baker; four brothers, James Wagner, Kenneth Wise, Steve Wise and Gary Baker; two sisters, Barbara Phillips and Patricia Harrison; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.
