Jewish Federation to install directors
The United Jewish Community/Jewish Federation of Las Vegas will install its board of directors Wednesday night at its annual meeting.
The meeting will be chaired by the federation's past president, David Dahan. Danny Greenspun will be installed as the incoming chairman.
The event starts at 7 p.m. at the Las Vegas Country Club, 3000 Joe W. Brown Drive. A reception will be held as a thank you for major donors. Desert will be served after the meeting.
The meeting is open to the entire Jewish community. Reservations are required and the cost is $18. Reservations can be made by calling 732-0556 or online at www.jewishlasvegas.com.
Registration for the Dragons, Dreams
and Daring Deeds annual summer reading club for children of all ages will be Wednesday through July 23 at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive, or at the Northwest Branch, 4528 W. Craig Road. Call 633-1070 or 839-2980.
