Wayne H. Bruhn
Wayne H. Bruhn, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired project manager in the electronics industry and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; one son, Robert A. Bruhn of Albuquerque; two daughters, Linda Smith of North Hills, Calif., and Diana Frazier of Chatsworth, Calif.; one brother, Donald Bruhn of Davenport, Iowa; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. June 3 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3391 N. Buffalo Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
Sarah E. Compton
Sarah E. Compton, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born June 24, 1921, in York, Pa. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Compton, and one daughter, Bonnie Compton.
She is survived by three sons, David Compton Sr., Robert Compton, and Charles Compton, and one daughter, Mary A. Compton, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Martha Wise of Bradenton, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until a 3 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Joe Ralph 'Jo Jo' Crespin
Joe Ralph "Jo Jo" Crespin, 47, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1957, in Henderson. A lifetime resident, he was a construction laborer in the convention industry.
He is survived by two sisters, Maina G. Dittmer and Olympia Martinez, both of Henderson.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Ida Derringer
Ida Derringer, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Philadelphia. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the real estate industry.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Caplan, and one brother, Isadore Lorenstein.
She is survived by one son, Glenn Derringer of Cincinnati; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled 10:30 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Wing Gay Fong
Wing Gay Fong, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in California. He was born Aug. 27, 1925, in Canton, China. A resident for 66 years, he was a Las Vegas High School graduate, a grocer, a banker, businessman, land developer who owned many local buildings and was president of the Merchants Bureau, director of the Greater Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, National Conference of Christian and Jews, Las Vegas Rotary Club, Civilian Military Council and St. Jude's Children's Home in Boulder City.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth Fong; one daughter, Susan Fong-Brattain; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 2 at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vega Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. June 3 at Bunkers, following by burial in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Lily Fong Language Fund, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.
Ronald J. Hoenerbach Sr.
Ronald J. Hoenerbach Sr., 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1948, in Gassville, Ark. A resident for 35 years, he was an electronics technician and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two sons, Ronald John Hoenerbach Jr. and Daniel John Hoenerbach, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Elizabeth Hoenerbach of Gassville; one brother, Karl Hoenerbach Jr. of Holiday, Fla.; and one grandson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Donald H. Lendt
Donald H. Lendt, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Sleepy Eye, Minn. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired oil refinery supervisor, a World War II Navy veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He is survived by his wife, Elva; two daughters, Janet Bea Keese of Temple City, Calif., and Connie Jo Lendt of Las Vegas; two sisters, Agonia Wilfahrt of Evan, Minn., and Cleora Thurow of Ault, Colo.; two brothers, Robert Lendt of Sleepy Eye and Eldon Lendt of Nevis, Minn.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to a 10:30 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Charles F. Merayeas
Charles F. Merayeas, 87, of Las Vegas died May 19 in a local hospital. A resident for 20 years, he was born Oct. 3, 1917, in Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Metropolitan Community Church, 1140 Almond Tree Lane. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Manfred Merkens
Manfred Merkens, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Germany. A resident for 14 years, he was a security officer with Pinkerton Security company.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons; one daughter; his mother, Barth Anneliese U Arno; and four grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
Anthony 'Black-Ant' Scott
Anthony "Black-Ant" Scott, 36, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 3, 1969, in Kansas. A resident for nine years, he was a computer graphics teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda; three daughters, Lakeisha Scott, Veronica Scott and Yvonne Scott, all of Las Vegas; his father, Earl Scott Jr., and his mother, Patricia White, both of Kansas City, Kan.
Visitation will be noon to 4 p.m. June 2 in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Mildred E. Snauwaert
Mildred E. Snauwaert, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 28, 1921, in East Chicago, Ind. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Snauwaert of Las Vegas and Dale Snauwaert of Toledo, Ohio.
Visitation will be two hours prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Robert Michael Sullivan
Robert Michael Sullivan, 50, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 29, 1954, in California. A resident for 15 years, he was a cabdriver.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Cheraso; his parents, Robert F. and Kathleen Sullivan; five brothers, Thomas, Michael, Timothy, David and Patrick; one sister, Kathryn; and four grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Donna Marie Victor
Donna Marie Victor, 71, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Minot, N.D. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Potter of McGill and Nicole Victor of North Las Vegas; one sister, Joyce Mansel of Houston; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
