Charlotte C. Allanach
Charlotte C. Allanach, 79, of Las Vegas died May 12 in Las Vegas. She was born May 11, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for nine years, she was a retired medical transcriptionist.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; one son, Barry Raskin of Carlsbad, Calif.; one daughter, Rachel Raskin-Zrihen of Vallejo, Calif.; and two grandsons.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Vera L. Bailes
Vera L. Bailes, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired hotel waitress and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Schneider of Las Vegas; one sister, Alice Faye Murray of Kansas City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Jennifer E. Barnett
Jennifer E. Barnett, 26, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1979, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; two sons, Tyler James Orum and Treven Andrew Barnett, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Karen Daniels, her father and stepmother, Bob and Patricia Glougie, one brother, John R. Glougie, one sister, Ashley Glougie, and her grandmother, Amy Glougie, all of Fresno.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
August R. Farino
August R. Farino, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired automotive service manager and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Linda T.; one daughter, Lorrie Bryant of Encino, Calif.; one son, Vincent Farino of Panorama City, Calif.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday with a 6 p.m. vigil in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Timothy Jay 'T.Jay' Hadland
Timothy Jay "T.Jay" Hadland, 44, of Las Vegas died Friday at Lake Mead. He was born June 9, 1960, in Grand Forks, N.D. A resident for 22 years, he was an entrepreneur.
He is survived by two sons, Allan J. Hadland of Las Vegas and Alex M. Hadland of Michigan; two daughters, Allana J. Hadland of the Air Force in Nebraska and Jennifer M. Hadland of Las Vegas; his parents, James and Marlene Hadland of Victorville, Calif.; two brothers, Gary Hadland of Victorville and Donny Hadland of Las Vegas; and one sister, Cheryl Reddington of Las Vegas.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
The family suggests donations to a trust fund for his children at Republic Bank of Flint, Mich., Account No. 0724101233120036169.
Anna Kingery
Anna Kingery, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Casa Blanca, Morocco. A resident for 44 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Michel Kingery and Victor Levy, both of Las Vegas, and Jerry Kingery of St. Croix Falls, Wis.; two daughters, Marcelle McLean of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Sandra Hilliard of Las Vegas; one sister, Jacqueline Zafrani of Israel; and eight grandchildren.
Services and burial will be noon Tuesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
The family suggests donations to Adat Ami Synagogue, P.O. Box 232198, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
Mary Linda Krueger
Mary Linda Krueger, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 4, 1931, in Willow, Okla. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Earl C.; one son, Michael J. Krueger of Sterling, Ill.; one daughter, Shelley Amore of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
A cryptside service will be 9 a.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Thea Sloan Muzzey
Thea Sloan Muzzey, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born June 15, 1937, in Montpelier, Vt. A resident for three years, she was an accountant in the banking industry.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry A.; one daughter, Christine Dupere of North Carolina; one sister; and two grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Oasis Baptist Church, 4824 E. Desert Inn Road.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Jeff 'Shifty' Stombaugh
Jeff "Shifty" Stombaugh, 26, of Las Vegas died May 10 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 22, 1979, in Las Vegas. He was a July 2004 graduate of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 12 apprentice program, a journeyman heavy equipment operator and played in several local softball leagues.
He is survived by his father, James Stombaugh of Reno; his mother, Carol Charlton of Caliente; two sisters, Melody Roberts of Green River, Wyo., and Star Stewart of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Bud and Dorothy Charlton of Caliente.
