A low-cost air carrier with a small presence in Las Vegas will add nonstop service between McCarran International Airport and Flint, Mich.'s Flint Bishop International Airport.
Orlando-based AirTran Airways will operate five times a week on the route beginning Aug. 4, using twin-engine Boeing 737 jets.
Flights will operate daily except Tuesdays and Wednesdays with flights leaving Las Vegas at 8 a.m., arriving in Flint at 2:50 p.m., and returning at 3:30 p.m., arriving at McCarran at 4:40 p.m.
AirTran currently operates four flights a day to Las Vegas, two each to Atlanta and Dallas-Fort Worth.
