Bonnie Sorenson has been appointed director of nursing for the Clark County Health District Nursing Division.
As director of nursing, Sorenson will oversee all nursing and clinic activities for the district.
Sorenson had served as a public health nurse manager for the district, overseeing programs such as immunization and sexually transmitted disease clinics, as well as family planning and maternal child health units.
Before joining the district, Sorenson served as a nurse manager for the Brown County Health Department in Green Bay, Wis., and as a community health nurse, in community health and chronic disease programs and community assessments and strategic planning.
