Creole Festival set Saturday, Sunday
The second annual Creole Festival Internationale 2005 will be 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, near downtown Las Vegas.
The celebration will feature Zydeco music along with a variety of food that has been influenced by the various ethnic groups that comprise the "Creole" Culture.

Primm Valley will host charity golf
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas and Primm Valley Resort will present the Primm Valley Golf Tournament starting with registration at 7 a.m. Wednesday, followed by an 8 a.m., shotgun start at Primm Valley Golf Course.

Skydiving benefit scheduled Saturday
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's second annual Jumping Blue Beans Jump Across America event will take place Saturday at Jean Airport.
Brave individuals and thrill seekers will experience a tandem or solo skydive to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. A health fair presented by Covering Kids
and Families will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Cashman Center, 850 Las Vegas Blvd. North, to provide information on free and low cost coverage for children.
Our Lady of Wisdom Church,
2120 Lindell Road, will hold its annual High Tea from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the church to raise building funds. Donation is $25; $35 at the door. Entertainment included. Call 870-2767.
