Norma M. Abbott
Norma M. Abbott, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Provo, Utah. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a computer business.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond L. Abbott of Las Vegas and Jon L. Abbott of New York City; two sisters, Viola Lotz of Riverside, Calif., and Emma Lee Packer of Brigham City, Utah.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the Nevada Council of the Blind, 441 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV 89005.
J.J. Finster
J.J. Finster, 53, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1951, in Batesville, Ark. A resident for 16 years, he was a floor coverer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by four sons, Jake Finster of North Las Vegas, Michael Finster and Richard Finster, both of Las Vegas, and Carl Finster; his mother, Jewel Finster of Desha, Ark.; two sisters, Phyllis Hilliard of Denton, Texas, and Carolyn Richard of Desha; one brother, Jimmy Finster of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Margaret Joy Gibbs
Margaret Joy Gibbs, 92, of Las Vegas died April 24 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 13, 1913, in Minnesota. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Norman Metz; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Eileen Gill-Ditta
Eileen Gill-Ditta, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 14, 1942, in Millbury, Mass. A resident for 10 years, she was a hospital unit secretary.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Ditta of Henderson; one brother, Richard Gill of Las Vegas; and one grandson.

Gladys Dale Greene
Gladys Dale Greene, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Bowles, Ark. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Matthews of Las Vegas; two sons, Fred Greene and Larry Greene, both of Lamesa, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon until a 3 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Charlotte Yvonne Hylton
Charlotte Yvonne Hylton, 69, of Las Vegas died April 26 in Las Vegas. She was born May 15, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two children, Wendy Diane Brizendine and Lon Jeffery Hylton.
She is survived by her husband, William Robert; two sons, Mason Kalani Hylton and Jerry Lee Hylton; one daughter, Bonnie Kay Hylton; one brother, Jeff Cotter of Arizona; two sisters, Jeannie Miller and Nadine Cotter, both of Washington state; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Elton Richard Johnson
Elton Richard Johnson, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1918, in Oklahoma. A resident for 27 years, he was a dishwasher.
He is survived by three sisters, Cleo Naomi Marble, Mary Ilene Lane and Deanna Ruth Bohannon.

Ellen Day Lloyd
Ellen Day Lloyd, 95, of Orem, Utah, died Sunday. She was born April 13, 1910, in Circleville, Utah. A former Las Vegas resident for many years, she was a beautician.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert D. Lloyd.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Hone of Lindon, Utah; one son, Wallace Lloyd of Ogden, Utah; one sister, Rosemond Henrie of Panguitch, Utah; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Saturday in the LDS Lakeview chapel, 916 Fifth St., Boulder City. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is assisting Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove, Utah, is handling arrangements.

Robert L. Muir
Robert L. Muir, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 10, 1920, in Beaver, Utah. A resident for five years, he was a retired state government heavy equipment operator and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Virginia Lee Neilson of Las Vegas and Denis Berry of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one sister, Ella Young of Oregon; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Merced Quintana
Merced Quintana, 80, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Fabens, Texas. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired construction superintendent and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Yolanda Manrriquez and Sylvia Nachtwein, both of Henderson; two sons, Alfred Quintana of Carson City and Merced Quintana Jr. of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today with a 4:30 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Jack Runion Jr.
Jack Runion Jr., 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Newport, Ky. A resident for 35 years, he was a casino pit manager.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; nine sons, Jack Runion III and Terry Runion, both of Newport, Paul Metz of Kingman, Ariz., Timothy Runion of Manchester, Ky., Anthony Metz and Kenneth Metz, both of Las Vegas, Mark Metz of Highland, Calif., John Runion of Erlanger, Ky., and Robert Runion of St. Bernard, Ohio; six daughters, Theresa Yoast and Jenifer Cameron, both of Las Vegas, Debbie Saylor of Forest Park, Ohio, Brenda Stamper of Hebron, Ky., Kim Stuart of Glencoe, Ky., and Robin DeVault of Wichita Falls, Texas; five sisters; 35 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Rose Sterns
Rose Sterns, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A resident for 46 years, she was born Aug. 13, 1923.
She is survived by her companion, Ralph Floor Jr. of Las Vegas; two sons, Ken Sterns and Glenn Sterns, both of Reno; one daughter, Sharon Sterns of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Eduardo R. Toranzo
Eduardo R. Toranzo, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Holguin, Cuba. A resident for eight years, he was a railroad mechanic, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Cuban Society of Tucson.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestina; two sons, Eloy E. Toranzo and Eric A. Toranzo, and one daughter, Evelyn C. Maesaka, all of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
