Orchestra concert
The Community College of Southern Nevada presents an orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Horn Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is $5. 651-5483.
Brenda Russell
R&B singer and keyboard player Brenda Russell will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Ampitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, as part of the "Jazz in the Park" series. Admission is free. 455-8242.
'Four Giants'
The Community College of Southern Nevada presents its Concert Band's "Four Giants" performance, exploring the music of W. Francis McBeth, Alfred Reed, Percy Grainger and John Zdechlik, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Horn Theatre, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Admission is $5. 651-5483.
Philharmonic
The Las Vegas Philharmonic will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday at Artemus Ham Hall. Tickets range from $25 to $66. 895-2787.
Choral concert

Peter Fletcher

Steel drum band
Henderson Island and the Community College of Southern Nevada Steel Drum Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. today at CCSN's Henderson Campus auditorium, building C133. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served after the performance. 651-3010.
Big band concert
Las Vegas' Department of Leisure Services presents a Mother's Day concert featuring the Walt Boenig Big Band at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Admission is free, but limit four tickets per person. A pre-concert brunch at 12:30 p.m. is $12 per person.
Barbershop quartet
The Las Vegas Metro Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society will perform at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Winchester Cultural Center Theatre, 3130 S. McLeod Drive. Admission is $12 general, $10 seniors. 455-7340.
Jazz in the Park

Dance
Centennial program
The Collage Dance Theatre will perform from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. today at the Post Modern, 301 Stewart Ave., as part of the city's centennial celebration and First Friday. Admission is free. 229-4631.
Dance concert

'Steel Magnolias'
