Letter: Official wrongly knocks Canada

I noted that in your state Legislature's debate on prescription drug reimportation from Canada, Assemblyman Garn Mabey, a medical doctor, said, "I cannot think of one medication discovered and developed in Canada."
I remind him that insulin was discovered in Toronto in 1921.
