2 treated for smoke inhalation

Two people were treated for smoke inhalation Thursday morning after a fire burned a clothing rack at Dillard's at the Galleria at Sunset mall, 1300 W. Sunset Road.

Security guards evacuated customers from the store after smoke drifted through its second floor, Henderson Fire Department Battalion Chief Doug Koopman said.

Firefighters were called at 11:50 a.m. and put the fire out in five minutes. Damage is estimated at $60,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The two people affected by smoke were treated at the scene and released.
