Ryan Moore sets new benchmark for wins
UNLV senior Ryan Moore became the winningest golfer in UNLV history after shooting a final-round 4-under-par 68 on Sunday to win the individual title at the Hall of Fame Invitational at 10-under for the tournament at Redstone Golf Club (par 72, 7,352 yards).
Moore's 10-under-par 206 gave him his third individual title of the season and seventh of his career. Before this weekend's tournament, Moore was tied with Warren Schutte (1989-93) for most career victories in program history at six apiece.
Moore finished one stroke ahead of Oklahoma State's Tyler Leon and two shots ahead of UNLV teammate Andres Gonzales.

Russian wins gold, Cohen captures silver

The Russian delivered a draining and dramatic program that featured seven clean triples to the delight of the home crowd.
Sasha Cohen of the United States won the silver medal for the second straight year, and Carolina Kostner of Italy took the bronze. Michelle Kwan, the five-time world champion, was fourth, the first time since 1996 the American finished a world championship without a medal.
