Music
Symphony
The Henderson Civic Symphony will hold its 11th annual Young Artist Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Admission is free, and the event will showcase the talents of five local musicians ranging in age from 11 to 17. 267-4055.
Prague Orchestra
The Prague Symphony Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the UNLV Performing Arts Center as part of the Charles Vanda Master Series. Tickets are $45, $60 and $90. 895-2787 or www.unlvtickets.com.
Piano festival
Pianists in three age divisions will compete at the Community College of Southern Nevada 6th annual Piano Concerto Competition at 3 p.m. Saturday in the CCSN Performing Arts Center's recital hall. Admission is free, and winners will perform their concerto's first movement with the Green Valley Symphonic Orchestra in May. 651-4659.
Jazz ensemble
The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West Commanders Jazz Ensemble will perform concerts at the following locations. Admission is free, but tickets are required:

Juan L. Sanchez Ensemble
The Juan L. Sanchez Ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday in the ballroom of the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 on performance day. Children 12 and under are free. 229-1515.
Al Elk and the Shuffle-Aires
Al Elk and the Shuffle-Aires will perform from noon to 1 p.m. today at the George Federal Building, 333 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Admission is free. 229-4614.

Savion Glover
Tap dancer Savion Glover will perform "Improvography" at 8 p.m. Monday at UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall. Tickets are $35, $45 and $70. 895-2787.
Dance concert
Community College of Southern Nevada dance students will perform their sixth annual dance concert at 7:30 p.m. today in the Little Theatre of the CCSN Performing Arts Center. Admission is $5 adults, $3 students and seniors. 651-5483.

'Cinderella'

'9 Second Window'

'He's Alive!'

'Above My Head'

'Monologues'
Women Against Violence will present a benefit production of "The Vagina Monologues" at 7 p.m. today at UNLV's Artemus Ham Hall. Tickets are $12 general, $5 UNLV students and faculty. All proceeds benefit the Rape Crisis Center of Southern Nevada.
'Magic School Bus'
Scholastic's "The Magic School Bus" will be performed at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway. Admission to either performance is $3 lawn, $5 section C, $7 section B, $9 section A, $12 orchestra. 267-4849 or www.cityofhenderson.com.
