Jordyn BOWEN
Forward, Senior, Centennial
Notable: A starting forward for the Bulldogs, who won their fourth consecutive state championship. ... Led Centennial in rebounding, with 12 per game ... Also had four steals, three assists and 10 points ... Carried the Bulldogs into the state semifinals with a 19-point, 14-rebound game against Desert Pines ... Signed with the University of Idaho.
Said Bulldogs coach Karen Weitz: "Her game has grown inside and outside, and she's been willing to do what we need her to do."
Kaylan KING
Guard, Senior, Reno
Notable: The North's player of the year, King averaged 17 PPG with five steals and 3.5 assists ... Also made 78 3-pointers with a range out to 25 feet ... Strong defensive presence, particularly on the perimeter ... Playing sick in the state semifinal against Bishop Gorman, led the Huskies with 13 points in a 57-45 win ... Second-team all-state in 2004 ... Has committed to the College of Southern Idaho.
Said Huskies coach Craig Campbell: "She was just kind of like a nice free safety in football, back there seeing the play develop."
Italee LUCAS
Guard, Sophomore, Centennial
Notable: Led Centennial to its fourth consecutive state championship with 20 points per game ... Also had eight steals and eight assists per contest ... Centennial scored a state record 2,931 points this season ... Played despite a painful foot injury in the Bulldogs' state tournament games ... The Northwest Division MVP. ...second consecutive all-state first-team
Said Bulldogs coach Karen Weitz: "She's such a great individual talent. She can make so many people look good on the floor."
Kaila MANGRUM
Forward, Senior, Bishop Gorman
Notable: Nicknamed "Glass Eater," Mangrum averaged 10 rebounds a game while pitching in 10 points ... Key player in a strong inside presence for the Sunset Region champion Gaels ... Selected by coaches as the co-MVP off the Southwest Division ... Did not play much last season due to foot injury, and saw limited minutes this season due to Gorman's frontcourt depth ... Still considering Division I options.
Said Gaels coach Sheryl Krmpotich: "She can score with her back to the bucket, facing the bucket, and with her size at six-foot, she's got catlike speed. She guarded guards on the perimeter because she has very good foot quickness."
Maria MOORE
Guard, Senior, Reed
Notable: Earning second consecutive all-state first-team selection, Moore averaged 20 points per game for a team that remained undefeated up to the postseason ... Also averaged six assists per game, helping set up the offense for the Raiders ... Verbally committed to the College of Southern Idaho.
Said Raiders coach Rich Shaw: "She was our team leader, our leading scorer, our playmaker. She pretty much carried us, she put us on her back and did the kind of things good players do in leading our basketball team."
Joe MOYES
Coach, Coronado
Notable: The Cougars won their first Sunrise Region championship four years after the school opened ... Coronado was 15-13 last year and was eliminated in the region semifinals ... The Cougars improved to 23-8 this year, eventually losing to Centennial in the state semifinals.

Ashley Blake
Guard, Senior, Centennial
The 2004 player of the year, Blake had six steals per game while averaging 15 points.
Mackenzie Butler
Forward, Senior, Reno
Butler averaged 12.1 points per game and added 12.8 rebounds and 4.1 blocks as the top inside playerin Northern 4A.
Carmen Deal
Forward, Senior, Desert Pines
Deal averaged more than 16 points per game while grabbing 12 boards a contest in taking the Jaguars to the Sunrise championship game.
Lindy LaRocque
Guard, Senior, Durango
Scoring nearly 20 points per game, including 82 3-pointers, LaRocque helped make Durango the surprise of the Southwest.
Kalee Whipple
Guard, Senior, Pahranagat Valley
One of the best all-around players in the state, Whipple averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds a game for the 1A state champions.
