Lance L. Campbell

Lance L. Campbell, 63, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for six years, he was a retired Clark County School District administrator and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Yelena Y.; three daughters, Kristen Ivey of Reno and Kelly Campbell and Ekaterina Belova, both of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 10 a.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at noon Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Roland John DeHerrera

Roland John DeHerrera, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 19, 1930, in Denver. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired sports book writer at the Excalibur and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one son, RJ DeHerrera of Denver.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Rebecca 'Becca' Geissler

Rebecca "Becca" Geissler, 22, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 17, 1982, in Las Vegas. She was an esthetician in a medical office.

She is survived by her mother, Victoria L. Barbeau, her father, Ronald Geissler, one brother, Mathew Geissler, and one sister, Jolynn Geissler, all of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, John D. and JoAnn Bayer of Las Vegas and George and Rae Geissler of Waterford, Conn.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Earnest Goodsell

Earnest Goodsell, 78, of Columbia Falls, Mont., died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 20, 1926, in Frazier, Mont. A resident for one year, he was a retired mill worker at a lumberyard and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie; two daughters, Becky Guild of Las Vegas and Tina Fago of San Diego; two sons, Hal Goodsell of Helena, Mont., and Wade Goodsell of Whitefish, Mont.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 5 p.m. service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Cassie Jane Hart

Cassie Jane Hart, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born June 8, 1916, in North Carolina. A resident for five years, she was a child-care worker.

She is survived by one son, Willie Drye; two daughters, Cassie L. Bryant and Patricia Davenport; one sister, Verlean Mitchell; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Helen Joan Imhoff

Helen Joan Imhoff, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1938, in Corning, Iowa. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; one daughter, Michele Imhoff of Lakewood, Colo.; and one son, Brian Imhoff of Centennial, Colo.

Marie Grace Kasica

Marie Grace Kasica, 78, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A retired beautician, she was born July 7, 1926, in Passaic, N.J.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Kasica of Henderson and John Kasico of Maywood, N.J.; two sisters, Catherine Liberato of Henderson and Jeannette Diraimondo of Toms River, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

John 'Pegleg' Lovstad

John "Pegleg" Lovstad, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 18, 1943, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 17 years, he was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one son, Jim; one daughter, Dawn; and five grandchildren.

Giovanni Maldonado

Giovanni Maldonado, 11 weeks old, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 24, 2004, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Carlos and Monica Maldonado of Las Vegas; three brothers, Carlos Maldonado Jr., Devin Aniel Maldonado and Christian Maldonado; his grandparents, Sergio and Gloria Alcala of Las Vegas and Rigoberto and Amparo Maldonado of San Diego; and his great-grandmother, Carmen Morales of Mexico.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Margaret R. Montgomery

Margaret R. Montgomery, 62, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 10, 1942, in San Antonio. A resident for 31 years, she was a publicity coordinator for Las Vegas.

She is survived by one daughter, Ginger Moleski of Las Vegas; three sons, Michael Mata of San Antonio, Aaron Mata of Las Vegas and Nathan L. Mata of San Diego; one brother, Joe "Sonny" Rother, and three sisters, Diane Moran, Evie Ramos and Evelyn Campos, all of San Antonio; and nine grandchildren.

Alexander Anthony Phillips

Alexander Anthony Phillips, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 10, 1947, in Cleveland.

He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Phillips and Melissa Phillips; and three grandchildren.

Maria Rizo, 45, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 1, 1959, in Cienfuegos, Cuba. A resident for 12 years, she was an Imperial Palace porter.

She is survived by her husband, Herminio; and one son, Orlando.

Marilyn D. Sheridan, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for eight years, she was a retired film inspector.

She is survived by two sons, James Sheridan of Las Vegas and Michael Sheridan of Rochester; and two grandchildren.

Joyce Ann Stanley, 60, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. An accounts payable clerk in the medical field, she was born April 30, 1944, in Los Angeles.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Golding of Las Vegas; her father, Daniel Payne, and one brother, Dan Payne, both of Washington state; one sister, Diane Foster of California; and three grandchildren.

Rudy Tancayo

Rudy Tancayo, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1942, in Honolulu. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired warehouse supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, Christopher Tancayo of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Peter Jaros of New York City and David Jaros of San Diego; and one stepdaughter, Jennifer Kelly of Acton, Mass.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
