CARSON CITY -- The state Commission on Judicial Discipline said today the disciplinary hearing against former Clark County District Judge Jeffrey Sobel, which had been scheduled for March 15, has been postponed to May 2.
The three-count complaint against Sobel accuses him of pressuring lawyers to contribute to his re-election campaign. Sobel has said he was only joking with the lawyers.
The hearing is to be at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority board room.
