Theodore B. Attarian
Theodore B. Attarian, 78, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired Navy E6 and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one brother, Dr. Archie B. Attarian of Grand Blanc, Mich.; and one sister, Martha A. Tabacco of Farmington Hills, Mich.
Visitation is scheduled 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 3538, North Las Vegas, NV 89036-3538.
Irene Black
Irene Black, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 9, 1919, in Delta, Utah. A resident for 80 years, she was a retired cosmetologist.
She is survived by two daughters, Shiela Black and Sandra Black-Hilsabeck, both of Las Vegas; three sons, William Black of Covington, Wash., John Black of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Dale Black of Las Vegas; three sisters, Annabelle Bigleman of Page, Ariz., Lois Hannig of Provo, Utah, and Louise Patterson of Henrieville, Utah; two brothers, Ralph Sprague of North Highland, Calif., and Lovell Sprague of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Friday in the LDS Hazelcrest Ward. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Kenneth E. Bridges
Kenneth E. Bridges, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 26, 1931, in California. A resident for 28 years, he was a food and beverage director, a taxicab driver and an Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; one daughter, Kathy Ross of Washington state; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Burial will be private. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity or the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Eric Brown
Eric Brown, 19, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 30, 1985, in Walla Walla, Wash. A resident for six years, he was a laborer, an Eagle Scout and a 2003 graduate of Boulder City High School.
He is survived by his parents, Tracie and Everett Brown, and three brothers, Paul Brown, Chris Brown and David Brown, all of Boulder City; and his grandparents, Richard and Sharline Voss of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Max and Hettie Brown of Rexburg, Idaho.
Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in the LDS Fifth Street Chapel in Boulder City. Burial will follow in Boulder City Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Boulder City High School, 1101 Fifth Street, Boulder City, NV 89005.
Leodis Brown
Leodis Brown, 82, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Louisiana. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Delores Foster and Elizabeth Brown, and four sons, Clarence Brown Jr., Earnest Brown, Andrew Brown and Frankie Brown, all of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Thursday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Great Commission Interdominational Church, 3329 Coleman St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Alan J. Cruz
Alan J. Cruz, 38, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1967, in Agana, Guam. A resident for six years, he was a front desk clerk.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rosalia and Juan Cruz of North Las Vegas; his father and stepmother, Jose and Gloria Cruz of Rapid City, S.D.; five sisters, Geraldine Aguigui, Rosalind Meno and Arlene Meno, all of North Las Vegas, Barbara Tainatongo of Port Orchard, Wash., and Theresa Cruz of Rapid City; and five brothers, Joe C. Cruz of Merizo, Guam, Shawn Cruz of North Las Vegas, Kirk Cruz of Monterey, Calif., and Vincent Cruz and David Cruz, both of Rapid City.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande, North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Richard P. Genovese
Richard P. Genovese, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 14, 1946, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired painter.
He is survived by two daughters, Michele Genovese of Las Vegas and Lynn Brown of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; one son, Richard Genovese of Niagara Falls; one brother, Randy P. Genovese of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Orville H. Goplen
Orville H. Goplen, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 1, 1912, in Greenfield Township, N.D. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired government foreign service officer and World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; twin sons, John Goplen and Richard Goplen, and one stepson, Alan Bach, all of Florida.

Bettye Mae Groves
Bettye Mae Groves, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born July 8, 1932, in Amarillo, Texas. A resident for two months, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John Henry; one son, John Groves of Las Vegas; one daughter, Theresa Groves of Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Joann Evered of California; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Hilda Morris Hewett
Hilda Morris Hewett, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Balingen, Germany. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired medical assistant.
She is survived by four sons, Leonard Morris of Sun City, Calif., William Morris of Las Vegas, Roland Morris of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Kenneth Morris of La Mirada, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Lana K. Moore
Lana K. Moore, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 24, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A resident for 51 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the National Rifle Association.
She is survived by her husband, Bill H.; one daughter, Shana L. Daigneau of Las Vegas; her mother, Kathryn M. Poulter of Craig, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Mary Carolee Sebaugh
Mary Carolee Sebaugh, 77, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Monday in a New Port Richey care center. She was born in Cincinnati. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a card dealer at the Sahara.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Gill.
She is survived by one son, Frank David Sebaugh IV of New Port Richey; one daughter, Kim Conforti of Belleair, Fla.; one brother, Terrence E. Wheat of Harrison, Ind.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in New Port Richey. Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, New Port Richey, is handling arrangements.
Beverly G. Thiessen
Beverly G. Thiessen, 83, of Searchlight died Sunday in Searchlight. She was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 18 years, she was a retired accountant.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon L. Kauffman of Searchlight; two sons, Thomas Bridwell of North San Juan, Calif., and Steven Thiessen of Las Vegas; one brother, David Bloomfield of La Palma, Calif.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Tommy L. Thomas Sr.
Tommy L. Thomas Sr., 52, of North Las Vegas died Feb. 23 in North Las Vegas. A hospital dietary clerk, he was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Nevada.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons, Lamar Harvey and Tommy Thomas Jr., and two daughters, Selena Harvey and Ashley Thomas, all of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Johnnie Scott of Las Vegas and Ronnie Thomas of North Las Vegas; four sisters, Joanne Thomas, Barbara Scott, Diane Thomas and Anita Scott, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1915 Lexington St. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Earl George Wan
Earl George Wan, 41, of Las Vegas died Feb. 24 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1963, in Jamaica, West Indies. A resident for one year, he was a teacher at Norman Manley Technical High School.
He is survived by his wife, Carren Mundy-Wan; two daughters, Carynza D. Wan and Gabriel L. Wan, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Wayne Wan of Miami and Bevan Wan of Jamaica; and three sisters, Jennifer Malcolm and Carlene Wan, both of Jamaica and Valcina Williams of Washington, D.C.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
