Henderson officer’s badge, gun stolen
Wednesday, March 9, 2005 | 9:16 a.m.
A Henderson Police officer's badge and personal handgun were stolen from his personal vehicle over the weekend, police said.
Someone broke into Officer Shane Lewis' car parked outside his Henderson home. Keith Paul, police spokesman, said officers are investigating the incident.
He said Lewis, a former spokesman for the department, did not violate any departmental policies regarding his badge. The gun was not one Lewis used when he was on duty, Paul said.
