A shoe retailer with a store in Las Vegas and another store in Henderson was the victim of computer hacking that led to the theft of credit card information.
Officials with DSW Shoe Warehouse said that the theft involved credit card and purchase information of customers who shopped at 103 DSW stores across the country primarily in the last three months.
A computer security firm and the U.S. Secret Service are investigating the information theft, DSW officials said.
DSW operates 175 shoe stores nationwide. A spokesman for the company, reached this morning, said that the company was not releasing which of its stores were victimized, citing the ongoing investigation.
The Las Vegas store is located at 2100 N. Rainbow Blvd., and the Henderson store is located at 671 Marks St.
Customers with questions can call the special DSW help line at 1-800-314-0224.
