Letter: Goodman is an embarrassment

How embarrassing to have Las Vegas represented by a mayor who has little sense of propriety. I cannot believe that he felt free to endorse gin to fourth graders at Mackey Elementary School!

It is unforgivable that he was unapologetic for his comments. And to compare himself to George Washington, a man revered for his class, for leading our liberation from England and for being our first president, is true arrogance. Does this man have a clue as to what appropriate behavior should be?

My deepest wish is that Goodman will not be haughty enough to run for governor.
