North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas expanded its geriatric-psychiatric unit Tuesday.
The IASIS Healthcare LLC-owned hospital added 22 beds to the department, bringing the total to 40 beds to treat behavioral problems in older adults. North Vista is the only Las Vegas Valley hospital that operates a geriatric-psychiatric department.
