Off-Strip property nets $32.8 million for 104-year-old

The 104-year-old businessman who waited more than 30 years to sell his Las Vegas industrial property sold it for $32.8 million, according to the Clark County records. The sale closed Tuesday afternoon.

Retired physician Russell Clark bought the Tropicana Industrial Center, at 5115 Industrial Road south of Tropicana Avenue, in 1973 for $79,000, county records show.

Clark sold the land to 30-year-old Gil Dezer, president of New York-based Dezer Development. Dezer plans to build a $1 billion condominium complex on the site.
