Anthony Dean Brandon
Anthony Dean Brandon, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born July 31, 1956, in Havre De Grace, Md. A resident for 34 years, he owned and operated a construction company and was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan A. Andino-Brandon; one daughter, Ashley Brandon-Ausiello, and one son, Anthony Lido Brandon, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Kelly Brandon, Lindsay Brandon and Susan Thurmond, all of Henderson; and two brothers, Shawn Brandon of Henderson and Leland Brandon of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
The family suggests donations to the Anthony Dean Brandon Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of America, Contact: Leland Brandon.
Bill Carden
Bill Carden, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born April 22, 1924, in Lonsdale, Ark. A resident for seven years, he was a retired high-rise carpenter and a retired Army tech sergeant and tank driver on the 601st tank destroyer and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl George of Union City, Calif., and Patty Weinstein of Hillsborough, Calif.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Merle Danford
Kaaekuahiwi
Merle Danford Kaaekuahiwi, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, he was a golf course groundskeeper and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diana; two daughters, Cheryl Kaaekuahiwi-Pouono and Amy Kaaekuahiwi, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Merle Kaaekuahiwi of Las Vegas and James Kaaekuahiwi of Poahau, Hawaii; three brothers, Alan Kaaekuahiwi, Gregory Kaaekuahiwi and Jerome Kaaekuahiwi, all of Hawaii; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. Friday followed by a 3 p.m. service in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Hawaii.
Arthur W. Kuhnhofer
Arthur W. Kuhnhofer, 63, died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Chicago. A resident for one year, he was a security officer and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by one brother, Jerry G. Kuhnhofer of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be in Chicago. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Ruth Maxine Musser
Ruth Maxine Musser, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Cumberland, Md. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired hotel showroom server.
She is survived by one son, Brian Musser of Windermere, Fla.; two daughters, Carol A. West of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Debra Turner of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until a 2 p.m. service Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.
Edythe B. Nelson
Edythe B. Nelson, 82, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 5, 1923, in Eaton, Colo. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Larry Nelson of Henderson.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
John Clifton Pradd
John Clifton Pradd, 93, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1912, in Oklahoma. A resident for 15 years, he was a cement finisher.
He is survived by five daughters, Carrie Sanders and Diane Wilson, both of Las Vegas and Gaynell, Jackie Pradd and Jenelda Pradd, all of California; five sons, Jessie Sloane of North Las Vegas, Frank Pradd, Melvin Pradd and Johnny Pradd, all of California and Steve Pradd of Las Vegas; 30 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were 11 a.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial followed.
Jesse Robinson Jr.
Jesse Robinson Jr., 45, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. An operational tech for a beverage company, he was born Aug. 7, 1959, in Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Barron Robinson of New Mexico and Isaiah Allen of Las Vegas; two daughters, LaShanda Robinson and Kimberly Robinson, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Lerry Anderson of California, Kevin Robinson of Louisiana and Arnold Robinson of Texas; and one sister, Gayle Williams of Texas.
Services were 11 a.m. today in Vegas View Church of God in Christ, 1906 Glider St., North Las Vegas. Burial followed in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Shirley C. Robinson
Shirley C. Robinson, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born April 6, 1925, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired customer service representative for a utility company.
She is survived by one daughter, Ginger Breedlove of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Dorothy Marie Schmidtke, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 10, 1920, in Loveland, Colo. A resident for seven years, she was a retired factory worker for a container manufacturer.
She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Eggert of Kentucky and Dale Talamantes of Wisconsin; two sons, Dean Hull of Arkansas and Gary Mackovic of Wisconsin; two sisters, Marjorie Dahl of Las Vegas and Maxine Scudder of Nevada; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling private arrangements.
