Richard Arnove

Richard Arnove, 72, of Las Vegas died May 10 in a local hospital. He was born April 19, 1933, in New York. A resident for almost 30 years, he was a retired sales representative for a nationwide company and an Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Karla Domke of Oceano, Calif., Sheri McKinley of Long Beach, Calif., and Michelle Arnove of White Plains, N.Y.; one brother, Martin Arnove of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Valley Funeral Home, 3919 Raymert Drive, is handling arrangements.

Mildred Louise Coe

Mildred Louise Coe, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1919, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A resident for nine years, she was a retired cook at a convalescent facility.

She is survived by two sons, Wyman L. Crane of Las Vegas and Stanley R. Crane of West Jordan, Utah; six grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Lonnie Daniels

Lonnie Daniels, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 7, 1957, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he owned and operated a painting company.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; four sons, Anthony Daniels, Michael Weir and Robbie Taschereau, all of Las Vegas and John Weir of Irvine, Calif.; two daughters, Shelly Taschereau and Christine Taschereau, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Christabell Daniels of Washington County, Utah; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Diane Henke

Diane Henke, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1939, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, she retired as a receptionist from a beauty salon.

She is survived by her husband, Charles F.; five sons, Rick Hart of Colorado Springs, Colo., Steve Hart of Baton Rouge, La., Scott Hart of San Diego, Ron Hart of Las Vegas and Wayne Henke of San Pedro, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Blankey of Las Vegas and Denise Winters of Murietta, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

John Wellington Johnson IV

John Wellington Johnson IV, 38, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 26, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a construction laborer.

He is survived by his companion, Kimmie Kuivinen; one daughter, Christina Thomas; one son, Jonathan Johnson; his mother, Carolyn Jefferson; three sisters, Glenda Rose, Queenie Johnson and Simone Jefferson, all of Las Vegas; and six brothers, Gregory Johnson of California, Rashid Brown of Georgia and Marcus Johnson, Carlton Johnson, Eugene Johnson and Royce Brown, all of Las Vegas.

Services were 11 a.m. today in Friendship Church of God in Christ, 2249 W. Washington Ave. Burial followed in Davis' Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Kamryn De'Von

Kamryn De'Von Johnson, 5, of Henderson died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 8, 1999, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his mother, Latwon Rucker, one brother, De'Vonte Landers, and four sisters, V'anteya Rucker, T'anna Bradford, Brianna Bradford and Ah'breana Bonds, all of Henderson.

Services were 11 a.m. today in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Harvey Clinton Jones Sr.

Harvey Clinton Jones Sr., 69, of Las Vegas died May 2 in Las Vegas. He was born July 14, 1935, in Charlotte, N.C. A resident for 35 years, he owned a car dealership.

He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Jones, and one brother, Ron Ferrell, both of Las Vegas; and one granddaughter.

Michelle Kendall

Bonnie Michelle Kendall, 30, of Henderson died June 14 in a local hospital. She was born April 30, 1975, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was a convenience store manager.

She is survived by her husband, David B.; and her mother, Elise Heavin of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Faith Christian Fellowship, 320 Pacific Ave., Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

D.P. 'Dots' Manrose

D.P. "Dots" Manrose, 88, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 13, 1917, in Marysville, Kan. A resident for nine years, he was a retired real estate agent and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary.

Virginia Meagher

Leatha Virginia Meagher, 76, of Pahrump died Wednesday in Russellville, Ky. She was born in Russellville.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; one daughter, Ann Love of Russellville; four sons, Wayne Brazelle and Rick Brazelle, both of Pahrump, Ronald Brazelle of Overton and Harry Brazelle of Topeka, Kan.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary is assisting Sanders Funeral Home, Russellville, with arrangements.

Dorothy K. Peterson

Dorothy K. Peterson, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. She was born March 27, 1913, in Malmo, Neb. A resident for eight years, she was a retired grocery store owner.

She is survived by one daughter, Doris Jo Ann Peterson, and one son, Paul M. Peterson, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Margaret G. Schaff, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Milwaukee. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Peter J.; two daughters, Gale Schaff of Las Vegas and Eileen Dennis of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Dennis Schaff of Cedarburg, Wis., and Alan Schaff of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were 9:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

Marjorie B. Unsbee

Marjorie B. Unsbee, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1914, in Auburn, Ill. A resident for three years, she was a retired executive secretary.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis S.; two sons, John Unsbee of Las Vegas and Randall S. Unsbee of Gresham, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
