North Vista Hospital announced its new chief executive today, bringing back a former employee.
Tony Marinello was named the top executive at the IASIS Healthcare Corp.-owned hospital in North Las Vegas.
Marinello replaces Bob Caldwell who was an interim chief executive. Caldwell plans to return to California and pursue health care consulting.
Prior to joining IASIS, Marinello was the assistant administrator at Desert Springs Hospital for two years. Before that, he worked at North Vista -- when it was named Lake Mead Hospital and was owned by Tenet Healthcare Corp. -- where he started as a medical technologist and worked his way up to associate administrator, a title he held from 1999 to 2003.
