Dagmar I. 'Marcy' Anderson
Dagmar I. "Marcy" Anderson, 75, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 15, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for 51 years, she worked for Clark County Social Services for more than 10 years, was president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and did fund-raising for many local charities.
She is survived by four sons, Richard, Randall, Harry and Walter "Wly"; two daughters, Misey and Imogen; two sisters, Myls Combs and Suzzette Hooper; one brother, Waldemar Valcq; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., handled arrangements.
Howard Burgman
Howard Burgman, 60, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. A retired salesman for a publishing firm and an Air Force veteran, he was born March 4, 1945, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He is survived by one son, Ryan Burgman of Sacramento; and his mother, Leonora Burgman of Lakeland, Fla.
A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Friday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.
Harry Emory Butler Jr.
Harry Emory Butler Jr., 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born in Atlanta. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired Army sergeant first class and World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran and following his military career he was an American Red Cross field service officer.
He is survived by his wife, Wol Nam Kim-Butler; two sons, Harry Butler of Leesburg, Fla., and Dennis Ray Butler of Alabama; one daughter, Susan Balkcum of Columbus, Ga.; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Services will be 1 p.m. July 11 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Veterans Funeral Care, Clearwater, Fla., assisted with arrangements.
Sandra Calhoun-Henderson
Sandra Calhoun-Henderson, 46, of North Las Vegas died May 27 in Las Vegas. She was born June 10, 1958, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, she was a schoolteacher.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Sr.; three daughters, Stephanie Calhoun, Keyosha Bowden and Ty'Aunna Henderson, one son, Michael Henderson III, two brothers, Michael Calhoun and Keith Calhoun, and one sister, Lawanna Calhoun, all of Las Vegas; and 17 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 1117 N. F St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Vonae Du
Vonae Du, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 26, 1938, in Acequia, Idaho. A resident for 19 years, she was a keno writer.
She is survived by one son, Kurt Kraemer, and her mother, Connie Thomas, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a noon service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Bertha M. Edmondson
Bertha M. Edmondson, 85, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 21, 1920, in Coosa County, Ala. A resident for five years, she was a retired cosmetologist.
She is survived by one niece, Sharon Brown of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Michael A. Guido
Michael A. Guido, 61, of North Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 26, 1943, in North Tonawanda, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was a retired toll supervisor for the New York bridge commission and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, June E.; one daughter, Diana L. Smith, and one son, Michael J. Guido, both of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and James Amato of North Tonawanda; three brothers, Alfred Guido of St. Augustine, Fla., Robert Guido of Wilson, N.Y., and John Guido of North Tonawanda; one sister, Teddy Tatford of Hamburg, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 9 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.

Shirley Joan 'Jo' Harris
Shirley Joan "Jo" Harris, 78, a former Las Vegas interior designer, died Saturday in Sacramento. She was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Sharon, Pa. She did the original interior designs for Caesars Palace and Circus Circus. Harris has been a Sacramento resident for about 40 years, where she was for many years an interior design contractor and director of architecture and interior design at Bauder College.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Scott Flewitt of Sacramento; one daughter, Jill Von Rotz of Phoenix; three sons, Dr. Mickey Mahan of Houston, Jack Benner of Berlin and Bo Paris of Florida; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Evergreen Memorial Mortuary of Sacramento handled arrangements.
Herta Houlihan
Herta Houlihan, 87, of Henderson died Friday in a local health care center. She was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Germany. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired journalist.

Audrey E. Johnson
Audrey E. Johnson, 68, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Saginaw, Mich. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired assembler for an electronics firm and a member of several Southern California yacht clubs.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; three sons, Wayne Donald Johnson of Ventura, Calif., and Larry Steven Johnson and John J. Johnson, both of Henderson; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Henderson.
Spencer 'Chuck' Loveland
Spencer "Chuck" Loveland, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born July 21, 1952, in California. A resident for 35 years, he was a truck driver and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda K.; two daughters, Christabelle Loveland and Mattea Loveland, both of Las Vegas; and his mother, Ruth Jegaris of New Mexico.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church, 4400 W. Oakey Blvd. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Michael Surwill
Michael Surwill, 90, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Spring Valley, Ill. A resident for five years, he was a retired engineer for an aircraft designer.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Surwill of Ocean Springs, Miss., and William Surwill of Henderson; and four grandchildren.

Gary E. Welton
Gary E. Welton, 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1949, in Lynwood, Calif. A resident for 35 years, he was a title officer for a mortgage company and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Florence E. Bowman of Las Vegas; one brother, Bradley Frank of Tehachapi, Calif.; and his special friend, Don Erb of Las Vegas.
