Elizabeth Blinn Green

Elizabeth Blinn Green, 88, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Saturday. A former Las Vegas resident, she was born Feb. 17, 1917, in Hungary.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney; one son, Robert Blinn of Atlanta; one daughter, Pepi Sandhaus of Scottsdale; and four grandchildren.

Burial will be in Las Vegas. Sinai Mortuary, Phoenix, handled arrangements.

The family suggests donations to Mazon, 1990 S. Bundy Drive, Suite 260, Los Angeles, CA 90025.

Bobby L. Guy

Bobby L. Guy, 62, of Las Vegas died May 31 in Las Vegas. He was born April 5, 1943, in Warren, Ark. A resident for 44 years old, he was retired.

He is survived by one son, Darnell Conway, one daughter, Sonja Chanea Johnson, and two brothers, Larmar Guy and Otis McClendon, all of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Full Gospel Temple, 817 Carey Ave., North Las Vegas. A private burial will follow. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Wynonia Hollimon

Wynonia Hollimon, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1942, in El Dorado, Ark. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired county deputy land appraiser.

She is survived by two sons, Joey Hollimon of Las Vegas and Keith Hollimon of Altadena, Calif.; one sister, Jimmie Bullock of El Dorado; two brothers, Lazelle Riggins of Inglewood, Calif., and the Rev. J.C. Riggins of Ventura, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Ethel M. Jilbert

Ethel M. Jilbert, 87, of Albuquerque died May 30 in Albuquerque. She was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Illinois. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a retired bookkeeper and a member of several musical combos including Ethel and the Nomads, Lowery Organ Club, Roland Organ Group and American Theatre Organ Society in Las Vegas and the Rio Grande Jazz Society and Klub of a Different Key in Albuquerque.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Jilbert of Albuquerque, Charles Jilbert of Placerville, Calif., and William of Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

James Lytel Waggoner

James Lytel Waggoner, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 26, 1927, in Albany, N.Y. A resident for 41 years, he was a braille teacher at the Blind Center, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Moose, Federation of the Blind of Las Vegas and American Legion.

He is survived by two daughters, Karri Donham and Renae Nevarez, both of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 9 a.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
