Bernardina Barreras
Bernardina Barreras, 93, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born May 20, 1912, in Cuba. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Luis Barreras of Southgate, Calif.; one daughter, Elvira Ferreiro of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until a 2 p.m. graveside service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Tony 'Sonny' Bedford
Tony "Sonny" Bedford, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. A bail bondsman and Air Force veteran, he was born June 4, 1931, in Chicago.
He is survived by two daughters, Toni Spilsbury and Christa Schueler, both of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Deborah Clay
Deborah Clay, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Yazoo City, Miss. A resident for two years, she was a retired teacher.
She is survived by her mother, Nawassa Clay of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Harriet Lewis of Nashville, Tenn., and Susan Clay of Las Vegas.
Services will be in Chicago. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Rita DiMartini
Rita DiMartini, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 22, 1932, in Melrose Park, Ill. A resident for 40 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; four daughters, Cathy Cibel, Deborah Cifaldi, Olivia Ahammer and Tina DiMartini-Jones, all of Las Vegas; and two sons, Donald DiMartini of San Pedro, Calif., and Dino DiMartini of Las Vegas.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Percy Ray Ealy
Percy Ray Ealy, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Lena, Miss. A resident for 41 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by his son, Tyrone Ealy, his mother, Josephine Ealy, three sisters, Zeolia Ealy, Maryann Childers and Julie Ann Evans, six brothers, Johnny Ealy, Thomas Ealy, Hank Ealy, Willie Ealy, Joe Ealy and Norman Ealy, and his companion, Gloria Howard, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Ealy and Sidney Ealy.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Cheryl Ann Jacobs
Cheryl Ann Jacobs, 51, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 23, 1953, in Morton, Miss. A resident for 50 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by one son, Cleveland Denson of Las Vegas; two daughters, Rashanna Stewart and Sacha Jacobs, her mother, Verta Denson, and one brother, Lester Denson, all of North Las Vegas; one sister, Elaine Milner of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89106. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Willard Kleitz
Willard Kleitz, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Hume, Mo. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired framing contractor and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; one daughter, Karen Courtney of Spanaway, Wash.; four sons, Randall Kleitz of Ballwin, Mo., and Bradley Kleitz, Gregory Kleitz and Jeffrey Kleitz, all of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling private arrangements.
Elaine Kuntz
Elaine Kuntz, 49, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 3, 1956, in Pomona, Calif. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Doug; two daughters, Lisa Garcia and Jessi Kuntz, and her parents, Lynn and Dorothy Ross, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6080 E. Owens Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Scott Taack
Scott Taack, 18, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 13, 1986, in Henderson. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Taack of Henderson; his father, John Taack of San Bernardino, Calif.; one sister, Jennifer Koch, and his grandparents, Ron and Theresa Zanini and Mary Taack, all of Henderson.
Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
