James C. Coleman
James C. Coleman, 50, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 26, 1954, in Louisiana. A resident for 36 years, he was a hotel porter.
He is survived by three sons, James Coleman Jr. and Derek Coleman, both of Las Vegas, and Travell Coleman of Henderson; one daughter, Machella Coleman of Henderson; three brothers, Albert Coleman and Stanley Coleman, both of Las Vegas, and Gregory Coleman of North Las Vegas; four sisters, Janie Coleman, Bonita Coleman and Bridgett Gaston, all of North Las Vegas, and Carylon Watson of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ambrose M. 'Andy' Drab
Ambrose M. "Andy" Drab, 74, of Henderson died May 24 in Henderson. He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Philadelphia. A resident for five years, he was a retired police officer, Korean War Army veteran, past president of the Boulder City Shrine and Zelzah Master's Club, past master of Masonic Lodge 751 in Pennsylvania and a member of York Rite Bodies.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian M.; one son, David Drab of Las Vegas; and one daughter, Dawn Drab of Phoenixville, Pa.
Graveside services will be 8:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
John Salvador Ellis
John Salvador Ellis, infant, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 30, 2005.
He is survived by his parents, Bertha A. and John J. Ellis, and his grandmother, Claire Young, all of Las Vegas.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Charles J. Fisicaro
Charles J. Fisicaro, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1917, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and World War II and Korean War veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Donna A.; and two sons, Sebastiano A. Fisicaro of Southfield, Mich., and Alfred C. Fisicaro of Los Angeles.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will be private.
Ted Green
Ted Green, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A retired hotel porter, he was born Oct. 12, 1945, in Troy, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; two sons, Jimmy Kelley of McAlester, Okla., and Larry Kelley of Wright, Wyo.; and one daughter, Christina Green of Las Vegas.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Nancy Bertha Greenside
Nancy Bertha Greenside, 94, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A bookeeper and member of the first Scrabble club, she was born Jan. 5, 1911, in Massachusetts.
She is survived by one son, Gerry Greenside.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Maria Kambouris
Maria Kambouris, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday. A homemaker, she was born Sept. 18, 1916, in Calavrita, Greece.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Kambouris; and one grandson, Nicolas Kambouris.
She is survived by one daughter, Stella Tasios and one son, Nicolas Kambouris, both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. Trisagion service today in St. Paul's Orthodox Church, 5400 Annie Oakley Drive. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Paul's Orthodox Church. Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Louise LaCanfora
Louise LaCanfora, 79, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 21, 1925, in Montclaire, N.J. A resident for 11 years, she was a department store saleswoman.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Kattie Ruth McNair-Davis
Kattie Ruth McNair-Davis, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Morton, Miss. A resident for 43 years, she was a retired hotel porter.
She is survived by five daughters, Brenda McNair, Ruth Haywood, Jenell Moody, Lenora McNair and Marette McNair, and one son, Shawn McNair, all of Las Vegas; five sisters, Estella White and Mary McNair, both of Las Vegas, and Annie McNair and Sarah McNair, both of North Las Vegas, and Birdie Ward of Morton; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Robert C. Noel
Robert C. Noel, 69, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1935, in Worcester, Mass. A resident for 35 years, he was retired and an Army veteran.
He is survived by three stepdaughters, Virginia Delara, Walcie Southall and Teri Kirby; three stepsons, Jerry Levi, Clyde Peterson and Timothy Peterson; and two brothers, Carrington F. Noel Jr. and William F. Noel.
Burial was scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Helen D. Schonfeld
Helen D. Schonfeld, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1918, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired head office manager in the electronics industry.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Pines and Rae Chaikin.
She is survived by two sisters, Ada Chaikin of Las Vegas and Dorothy Nivakoff of Delray Beach, Fla.
Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Godofredo 'Gody' Sison
Godofredo "Gody" Sison, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. A security officer, he was born May 4, 1945, in the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Fely; two sons, J.M. Sison and Justin Sison; two daughters, Abigail Sison and Katrina Sison; three brothers, Ross Sison, Obet Sison and Noling Sison; two sisters, Agnes Sison and Tita Martinez; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
